TRISTAN BAIN

Music and the technology involved in it has always played a major part in tristans life, from a young age in the east end of london, being involved in a local community musical theatre company on to cutting and re-editing old news recordings and playing with the various gadgets in unused broadcast studios at londons capital fm where his mother worked as a journalist/broadcaster and experimenting with the technology at the recording studio at the theatrical university where his father worked. at school, Tristan would spend a lot of free time in the music department creating tracks and beats on the newest keyboards that the school had been donated and often would miss classes to escape up to "tin pan alley"denmark street in the centre of london to try out and learn more about the latest technology on the market. After leaving school, Tristan spent most of the summer working for the company that ran the rave "dance 91" and the legendary night "rage" in charing cross. His job involved helping with the mail out lists and most nights were spent driving all over the south east to various legal and illegal events giving out flyers and having to report back on how well different events were doing. Having access in to most events and clubs in the clubbing/raving scene over that time tristan soon caught the bug for the music and atmosphere. with a growing passion for the whole scene tristan started buying a lot of the tracks he was dancing to at the raves and clubs just because he loved the music,"i didnt even have a record player and had to borrow my mates just to get a fix of the music at home". after that summer a friend offered him a job with an entertainments company where he was running nights in bars pubs and clubs all over london setting up sound systems running karaoke nights and djing. after a while the focus moved pretty much exclusively to djing and that has been his life for the 17 years since. since the summer of 1995 Tristan has taken up summer residencies in clubs around spain which have led to playing in venues such as KM,benidorm BCM and MILLENIUM,mallorca. since then tristan has had winter residencies in ski resorts in andorra in SURF, arinsal and PUSSYCAT,soldeu Tristans musical style and taste has developed over the years to evolve into a stylish repetoire, mixing in new ,old and future classics just as at home in the most glamorous of beach bars as in the sweatiest and loudest of main rooms, as such it was only natural that tristan was drawn to the home of dance music that is EIVISSA to ply his trade. 2008 has seen Tristan join the world famous MAMBO family in accepting the position as resident at savannah beach club on ibizas famous sunset strip. this season has seen savannah be at the forefront of ibizas pre-party scene hosting WONDERLAND,ARMADA,LA TROYA,HED KANDI,SOUL HEAVEN and BE@SPACE as such tristan has played alongside ARMIN VAN BUUREN,FEDDE LE GRAND,PETE TONG,GROOVE ARMADA,"LITTLE" LOUIE VEGA,LAIDBACK LUKE,ERIC PRYDZ,DJ OLIVER,MIGUEL MIGS,WALLY LOPEZ,KURD MAVERICK,RON CARROLL,MR.C,MARK KNIGHT,NICK BRIDGES(bodyrox),BART B MORE and BENNY BENASSI. he ahs also featured on IBIZA SONICA radio and IBIZA GLOBAL RADIO also daily throughout the summer on RADIO FANTASY broadcast in italy.
